The Angina

by animalworkss

Your eyes lit up these chambers
And suddenly there appeared a rhythm
Marking my movements amidst things before unseen
My, my, no wonder I’d been stubbing my toes…

In the blink of electric shock
My little objectivities fell into tacet seclusion
From sensation, while they pranced along in silence
With my heed alongside them, I danced a little more gracefully

By means of time itself
The deaf took lead of the blind
And in a rush I was swept into the depths of sweet nothings
My, my, how I long for the relief of stubbing my toes…
